Road rage is actually the effect of a cause. The main cause of road rage is aggressive driving by another driver. This angers one driver making him/her to engage in acts that most likely cause road accidents.
When drivers are angry, they drive recklessly, speak disrespectfully and engage in all sorts of manners that lead to road rage and road carnage. For instance, many drivers result to verbal assaults when they see another drivers driving recklessly or aggressively.
They insult the other driver. This affects the driver’s self-esteem—making him/her to retaliate in any form. The driver will most likely insult back, hit his/her car against the other car, block the road or engage in any other harmful acts.
These acts deteriorate and lead to road traffic accidents. As reported, many road traffic accidents come as a result of road rage. Drivers seeking to jump off traffic regulations, find themselves driving aggressively, causing other drivers to fight back—leading to fatal road accidents.
To ensure safety on the road, we must all obey road traffic regulations. All road users must be responsible and circumspect in their use of language. Anger is very serious—it can inflame many dangerous road accidents! So to prevent road rage, drivers must learn to desist from aggressive driving.
